We invite you to join us to create world-class GPU compiler products that enable high-performance graphics and compute with low power consumption.This position will be responsible for performance analysis and optimization for mobile games running on Qualcomm's Adreno GPUs. Responsibilities include analyzing GPU applications, developing and utilizing profiling tools, and investigating/prototyping compiler optimizations. There will be opportunities to influence game performance and GPU design.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity within their teams and the company.Minimum Qualifications:Deep understanding of computer architecture (GPU, memory, data layout, etc.) and performance tradeoffsExtensive experience with performance tuning of games or parallel applications on multi-core CPU, GPU, or heterogeneous systemsKnowledge and experience in compiler development and optimizationProficiency with C / C++ or scripting languages (e.g., Python)Good communication skills, teamwork spirit, reliability, and self-motivationPreferred Skills/Experience:Graphics shader programming (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, or others) or OpenCL/CUDA kernel developmentExperience with performance profiling and tuning for gamesExperience with CPU/GPU performance modeling and profiling toolsEducation:Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 2+ years of industry experiencePreferred: Master's degree or PhD in relevant fieldsKeywords:GPU, mobile games, graphics processor, compiler, performance, computer graphics, architectureNote on Minimum Qualifications:Alternatively, candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience in Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering with a Bachelor's, or equivalent combinations with Master's or PhD degrees, are also eligible.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
