The SharePoint Administrator will provide systems administration, maintenance, and support for current and future versions of SharePoint 2013 or higher, and MS Office SharePoint Server.The SharePoint Administrator responsibilities will include:Manage and maintain vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting under Risk Management Framework to maintain an ATO.Configure, Troubleshoot, and Maintain Search FunctionalityCoordinate and Collaborate with Network Infrastructure TeamDesign and implement medium to large SharePoint intranet/extranet farm topologiesAssist in solving technical and performance problems within the portal infrastructurePlan and implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates of SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint serverCreate and maintain documentation for SIPR SharePoint infrastructure, deployment, and service specificationsCollaborate with Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to SIPR SharePoint implementation monthly.Manage service applications, creating web applications, configuring Alternate Access Mapping (AAM) and managing farm features and solutionsEducation:Required - High School or equivalent diploma.Desired - Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information SystemsRequired Qualifications / Certifications:Three (3) years’ experience in SharePoint administration and maintenanceCompTIA Security+ CEDesired Qualifications / Certifications:Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert.
