You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.Our tech stack is NestJS, NextJS, PostgreSQL (web) – React Native Expo (mobile).As our React Native developer, you will:Integrate existing SaaS products where possible (such as CRM tools, subscription management tools, analytics tools) – using their 3rd party APIs to speed up our development timeCreate and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native ExpoDeploy mobile apps to Google Play Store and Apple App StoreBuild tools that support the marketing, sales and operational teams where requiredWork with product and operations teams to achieve target metrics that represent business successSuggest workflow process improvements and sustain self-organised agile teamsBuild pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platformsLeverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platformsDiagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels nativeMaintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest qualityTo secure an interview, you should possess the following:BS/MS degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subjectMinimum five years working experience in developing applications3 years’ experience working with React & React NativeComfortable working in an Agile environment (SCRUM, Kanban)Comfortable with Test-Driven Development (TDD)Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with an ability to influence and drive other team members where required.Our Ideal CandidateReact Native developers should also have comprehensive hard skills, including:A complete understanding of the entire mobile app development lifecycle, including iOS and Android platformsKnowledge of responsive and user interface designsExperience working with document request models, REST APIs, third-party libraries, and offline storageFull-stack web development is a plusExperience with TypeScript, unit testing, code debugging, and prop typesStrong understanding of React fundamentals such as component lifecycle, Virtual DOM, and component stateFamiliar with REST APIs to connect a mobile application to the back-end serviceExcellent written and speaking English skillsProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitUnderstanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable applicationExperience with Expo (or Native) messaging APIs and push notificationsFamiliarity with platforms like Segment, Mixpanel is a plusPrevious experience with subscription products or calendar booking products a plusThis is a full time position.
