Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%Axos BankTarget Range:$90,000.00 /Yr. - $130,000.00 /Yr.These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.About This JobAxos Bank is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a lean team that supports our entire networking environment to manage both new capabilities and the day-to-day, 24x7 production support of the network (core, distribution, wired & wireless access layers, WAN, and network security), with a focus on Palo Alto Firewall.This position will report on-site at any of our locations (San Diego CA, Irvine CA, Los Angeles CA, Las Vegas NV, Centennial CO, Omaha NE, Overland Park KS, or Edison NJ).Responsibilities:Manage both new capabilities and the day-to-day, 24x7 production support of the network (core, distribution, wired & wireless access layers, WAN, and network security)Develop and utilize policies, standards, and standard operating procedures for documentationDesign, configure, implement, and support local and wide area networks at AxosAssist in network design and development of implementationsParticipate in disaster recovery planning, exercises, and responsesEvaluate and test vendor-supplied software changes and updates prior to installationCollaborate with vendors, application developers, database administrators, and other IT groups to resolve issuesConduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards and policiesDocument network deployments and maintain up-to-date diagramsTroubleshoot and manage support tickets from technical services, assisting with network administrationProvide technical guidance and project management for network initiativesAnalyze network configurations, monitor systems for alerts, and proactively address issuesPlan, install, and configure physical and virtual servers to meet application and security requirementsDocument system security, capacity, and usage detailsMaintain servers and clients using administrative tools, monitor capacity, and minimize outagesMaintain network security, backup, and recovery processesExpand security knowledge related to banking and work-group software, and stay current with network platformsReview cloud technology solutions for infrastructure optionsEnsure project deliverables meet budget and timeline constraintsSupport global data technologies through analysis, testing, documentation, and implementationParticipate in infrastructure changes such as office relocations and expansionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of networking experience with Cisco L2/L3 equipment3+ years managing Cisco routing and switching protocols3+ years working with Palo Alto devices and load balancers2+ years’ experience with SolarWinds OrionTechnical knowledge of Active Directory and related services (DNS, DHCP, NPS, LDAP)Ability to work independently on assignmentsCCNP and/or CCNA preferredEmployee Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, Holidays (~11/year)HSA or FSA accounts and voluntary benefits401(k) with employer match and 529 Savings PlanEmployee Mortgage Loan Program and free Axos Bank account with Self-Directed TradingAbout AxosAxos delivers digital-first financial tools and services for individuals, small businesses, and companies.
