Be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team driving meaningful change in the maritime industry.What You'll DoActively contribute to specifications and designs that deliver on company objectivesUncover technical constraints and break down work into iterations and tasksTake ownership of your tasks and implement them in close collaboration with colleaguesConsider all aspects from data models to testing to performance, delivering scalable solutionsBridge knowledge gaps between back-end and front-end for your colleaguesDeliver work in small iterations with regular feedback through code reviewsCollaborate with our field engineers and partners during implementation and onboarding of shipsGain visibility into real-time system behavior and help improve it based on real-world useRequired Qualifications3-5+ years professional experience with C# developmentExperience developing databases in SQL and AzureDemonstrated expertise with MQTT protocol implementationProficiency in Linux environments and command-line operationsExperience with containerization using DockerProven record of accomplishment implementing Azure Cloud solutionsStrong database skills with MSSQL and PostgreSQLBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Industry ExperienceFluent in EnglishPreferred QualificationsCI/CD pipeline experience (Azure/GitHub)Computer networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/IP)Experience with additional languages: Python, Go, NodeJS, C++, or RustGrafana and Prometheus monitoringInterest in or experience with field implementation of technical systemsAffinity with maritime environments or industrial engineeringWhile your main focus will be on back end development, we are always excited if you bring a bit of frontend flair to the table. Think dashboards, interfaces and data visualizations. These are all areas we will be exploring more as our platform continues to grow.If you have experience with frameworks like React, Angular or Vue, or if you have created a sleek Power BI dashboard or two - that is a big plus. Not a requirement, but definitely a nice addition.
