You will build trusting relationships with senior ICs and managers across distributed locations to advance the product roadmap. Your team will prioritize, plan, and deliver features from inception to deployment, impacting hundreds of millions of users and supporting key Apple features.Minimum QualificationsBS/MS in EE, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience15+ years of experience as a backend software engineerStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze technical trade-offs and understand the big pictureExperience hiring and mentoring technical talent while fostering team cultureProven leadership across cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with distributed databases, storage, or similar large-scale distributed systemsExperience building reliable platform systems for high-scale, critical workloadsAt Apple, base pay ranges from $212,000 to $386,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
