What we expectThe first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Digital Solutions Architect located in Atlanta, GA.The Digital Solutions Architect is responsible for making high level design decisions for Digital Solutions projects, diagraming and modeling system architectures, advising on and supporting the technical aspects of Digital Solutions projects, problem solving and troubleshooting, advising development teams regarding tools, development platforms, and environments, advising best practices and processes for Digital Solutions project teams, acting as technical liaison between Digital Solutions project teams and external teams, and coordinating with and supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner with the creation and technical management of Digital Solutions project teams.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Diagraming and modeling system architectures.Advising on and supporting the technical aspects of Digital Solutions projects.Advising development teams regarding tools, development platforms, and environments.Advising best practices and processes for Digital Solutions project teams.Coordinating with and supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner with the creation and technical management of Digital Solutions project teamsWho we are looking forEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor of Science degree or better in software engineering with 3.0 or greater GPA5-7 years' experience with software engineering related project work in embedded development (preferably in projects involving complex systems similar to elevator and escalators)3-5 years' experience in utilizing Agile PrinciplesOutstanding skills in writing computer codeDeep knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python or othersDeep knowledge of UMLOutstanding creative thinking skillsGood to Outstanding skills in linear algebra, discrete mathematics, calculus, and statisticsGood to Outstanding knowledge of Agile Development PrinciplesOutstanding oral and written communication skillsOutstanding leadership skills, congenial and upbeat personalityWhat we offerProvided they meet all eligibility requirement under the applicable plan documents, employees will be offered medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, supplemental medical plans, basic life insurance, AD&D, short term and long term disability, optional life and AD&D, optional spouse and dependent life insurance, dependent life insurance, flexible spend account, health savings account, identity theft monitoring, pet insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness program, and tuition reimbursement.
