Software Engineer - Analytics Platforms & Experiences (APX)Seattle, Washington, United StatesSoftware and ServicesDescriptionWe're looking for a junior Software Engineer to join the APX Bedrock team — the foundation of our platform capabilities. You’ll help design and build scalable, user-friendly tools and backend services that make it easier for teams across Apple to manage and operate analytics pipelines efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable backend services that integrate big data technologies with microservices for real-time and batch data processingCollaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and improve platform capabilitiesContribute to the design of intuitive developer tools and automation systemsStay informed of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideasMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent related experience3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a full-stack or backend roleProficiency in building and maintaining backend services using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go)Solid knowledge of SQL and working with relational or analytical databasesKnowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps fundamentalsFamiliarity with data engineering concepts and challengesPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience integrating or leveraging AI models in applicationsExperience with big data orchestration systems like AirflowExperience in building CLI toolsExperience with container orchestration tools, such as KubernetesAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
