SWE - Software Engineer in Test - Siri

San Francisco, California, United StatesMachine Learning and AIDescriptionIn this role, you will help build and maintain cross-platform test automation framework(s) using Swift and XCUITest to test Apple Search across multiple apps. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests, triaging test results, and developing tools to monitor both test and product health. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify and resolve issues related to testing and overall product quality. Additionally, you will leverage large language models (LLMs) to automate test generation, improve coverage, and enhance the scalability and resilience of the testing infrastructure.Minimum QualificationsExperience in Swift/XCTest/XCUITestExperience testing mobile frameworks and/or applicationsExperience developing automated software testsExperience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defectsExcellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practicesPreferred QualificationsAbility to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyondAbility to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutionsExperience using LLMs to build or enhance software testing frameworks, focusing on generating effective, robust, and diverse test casesAt Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100.
