OverviewObserve is a SaaS Observability product that enables businesses to investigate modern distributed applications 10x faster. Observe ingests anything with a timestamp (e.g. system and application logs, metrics, and traces), and then structures that data so that it is correlated and easy to navigate. We enable engineers to spend more time coding features and less time investigating incidents. Watch this video to learn more about our mission.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop software systems for Observe’s Application Performance Monitoring (APM) SaaS platform for observability and machine data analytics, with a focus on the monitoring backend software product.Build new features to help customers interact with the monitoring interface, and curate alerts.Benchmark data pipelines and query plans in Snowflake.Identify scope of enhancements, and architect appropriate solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Background (academic projects or experience) benchmarking outcomes from software system variants.About UsObserve's mission is to turn business data into information. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as equity and a competitive benefits package.
