Applications Engineer

Omni Design is looking for a dynamic Applications Engineer to provide pre-sales and/or post-sales support to customers. The ideal candidate is an engineer with experience in mixed-signal design and its application in products such as 5G, automotive/ADAS, AI, wireline communications, etc.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist customers in adopting Omni Design IP through training & demos, presentations, solving technical issues, and leading technical engagements.Understand customer’s analog and mixed-signal design challenges, especially at advanced process nodes, and guide them in refining their requirements and successfully integrating Omni Design IP into their municate customer requirements and feedback to marketing and engineering for issue resolution and product improvement.QualificationsSolid understanding of IC design technology and analog design.Familiarity with high-speed, high-resolution analog-to-digital (ADC) or digital-to-analog (DAC) data converters.Experience in high-performance mixed-signal design.Experience in conducting technical presentations, training, and product demos.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and deliver high-quality results.Proactive in seeking help and sharing knowledge.Education/ExperienceBS/MS in Electrical Engineering.2+ years of relevant experience.Some travel may be required.We believe that the ongoing hardware revolution will be accelerated by Omni Design’s IP cores and the emerging semiconductor embedded design ecosystem.At Omni Design, we foster an environment of talented professionals across disciplines.
