We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with cybersecurity, information security, system security, network security devices, applications, and tooling and impact our nation’s this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our customer’s mission area.This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the mission area. The world can’t wait.You Have:4+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information security engineeringExperience with reviewing vulnerability documentation and developing courses of action to remediate findingsExperience with operating cybersecurity tools, such as Splunk, Tenable, Trellix, or ElasticKnowledge of NIST SP 800-53 rev 5 transition requirements and planning of implementation strategiesKnowledge of current or emerging industry standards and best practices in cybersecurityAbility to identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across functional workstreamsAbility to establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goalsAbility to obtain a DoD IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire dateNice If You Have:Experience with network firewalls, web proxy, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, penetration tools, or object-oriented programming languages, including Java or PythonExperience with zero-trust best practices and methodologiesKnowledge of Agile MethodologiesAbility to conduct security assessments and work cross-functionally with various teamsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsTS/SCI clearanceDoD IAT Level II Security Certification, including CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISMClearance: Applicants will be subject to a security investigation; Secret clearance is pensation: Our benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. The projected salary range is $62,000 to $141,000 annually.
