We invest in our people and uphold our CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Responsibility, and Excellence.We are seeking a skilled attorney with 4+ years of commercial vendor contract experience to join our Legal team. The role involves providing legal support for third-party vendor contracts, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business operations through contract management and legal advice.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice on vendor contracts, aligning with company policies and regulations.Develop and improve contract templates and related tools for efficiency.Collaborate with procurement, technology, and other teams for contract approvals and execution.Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial contracts.Coordinate with external counsel as needed for legal support and risk mitigation.Identify and mitigate legal risks in vendor relationships.Assist in resolving contract disputes and legal issues promptly.Stay updated on laws and industry practices affecting vendor contracts.Support ad hoc legal projects and initiatives.Qualifications and ExperienceJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Minimum of 4 years in commercial contract law, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor and commercial contracts with risk management focus.Strong understanding of contract law, regulations, and governance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.Strong organizational and time management skills.Quick learner adaptable to new technologies and legal tools.Preferred qualifications include experience in financial services or investment management, familiarity with procurement and vendor management, and success in cross-functional collaboration.PIMCO offers a total compensation package including salary and discretionary bonus.
