Our thousands of employees help shape a better future at our global headquarters in Columbia, MD and locations worldwide.Grace is seeking a Counsel, Procurement, Supply Chain and Corporate Affairs to join our legal team as we grow and develop our organization to build a scalable platform for rapid organic and inorganic growth. This position reports to our Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and is a hybrid role located in Columbia, Maryland.The Counsel, Procurement, Supply Chain and Corporate Affairs serves as primary counsel supporting Grace’s procurement and supply chain activities, and will help support corporate, real estate, finance and strategy activities in conjunction with other legal colleagues. Among other things, they will identify and analyze legal issues, negotiate and draft contracts, assist with corporate matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Partner with and counsel the Procurement and Supply Chain organizations related to all types of contracts: IT, consulting, HR, Communications, materials purchasing, logistics, etc.Review, negotiate and draft all types of contracts including: supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, real estate, and service agreements.Provide support and assistance for sustainability, strategy and general corporate issues.Coordinate with other legal experts in specialized areas such as intellectual property, labor & employment, entity management, litigation and tax.Provide additional legal support on other matters and assume other responsibilities, as assigned.Required QualificationsJ.D. with a strong academic recordAt least five (5) years of experience including contract drafting and general corporate matters.Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.Excellent communication and analytical skills, and ability to think strategically and tactically.Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful with strong follow-through skillsPreferred QualificationsGlobal or multi-regional experience; in-house corporate legal experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
