Responsibilities include preparing for and conducting hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.Key ResponsibilitiesContact clients to discuss their cases and address questionsReview new files, documentary evidence, approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategiesInvestigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriateConduct settlements and dispositive proceedings such as mediations and arbitrationsPrepare for and conduct court appearances, including conferences and hearingsConduct depositions and examinations under oath, and prepare summariesPrepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, including expert witnessesTry and/or arbitrate cases, and prepare motions and summary documents in limineKeep claim business partners updated on case status and strategiesEducation4-year Bachelor’s Degree (Required)Juris Doctor (Required)Experience3-5 years of experience preferredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not include supervisory duties.SkillsArbitration, Client Documentation, Court Appearances, Depositions, Evidence Gathering, Legal Document Preparation, Legal Pleadings, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Litigation, Mediation, TortsCompensationAnnual salary ranges from $66,800 to $120,650, based on experience and qualifications.The candidate will be required to submit to a background check.
