Removal Defense Attorney

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Removal Defense Attorney with a strong background in immigration law, particularly in representing clients facing deportation or removal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have courtroom experience, a deep understanding of immigration court procedures, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in removal and deportation proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).Prepare and file motions, briefs, asylum applications, cancellation of removal applications, waivers, and appeals.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex immigration and constitutional law issues.Develop and execute individualized case strategies for clients facing removal.Appear at master and individual hearings, bond hearings, and other immigration court proceedings.Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients and their families throughout the removal defense process.Stay informed of changes in immigration laws, policies, and court rulings that affect removal defense.Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to manage a high-volume caseload.Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation in the firm’s case management system.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active bar license in good standing (any state).Minimum 2–3 years of experience in removal defense or immigration law preferred.Strong courtroom and litigation skills.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines mitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Miami, FL 33174 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Miami, FL 33174: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: From $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
