Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy Services offered by King County Prosecuting Attorney in SeattleAdvocates provide support through the court process including crisis intervention, information and referral to social service agencies, preparation prior to court hearings, and advocacy during and after court hearings. Advocates involve other agencies and individuals in the criminal or civil court process. They will provide community education upon request and work to increase awareness of victims' legal rights, options, and dividuals listed as crime victims on police reports will be contacted by an advocate.Fee: None.Eligibility: Individuals who are listed as domestic violence crime victims on police reports in King County.Service Area: King, WAAgency InfoAgency: King County Prosecuting AttorneyThis agency prosecutes all felonies committed in King County and misdemeanors committed in unincorporated areas.
