Back of House Steward Events Management

JOB TITLE: Back of House (Steward)REPORTS TO: Direct SupervisorDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs duties as assigned by management.Assists other staff members as needed to ensure optimum service and safety.Assists with loading and unloading deliveries while following all safety procedures.Immediately reports all accidents and injuries to supervisor.Ensures all necessary tasks are completed daily.Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.Washes and sanitizes pots, pans, and trays.Sweeps and mops all floors and bathrooms.Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.Recycles and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.Hoses out garbage cans.Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.Washes and peels vegetables.Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.QUALIFICATIONS:For drivers of company vehicles: must have a valid California driver’s license in good standing with no major violations or at-fault accidents over the past 3 years.Availability to work an assortment of days, evenings, weekends, and PETENCIES:Diversity: Demonstrates knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity policy; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce.Ethics: Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires #J-18808-Ljbffr
