This role will be instrumental in defining and executing innovative merchandising strategies, aligning leadership, design and product development with brand vision, and driving profitability and customer engagement across all channels. This role is perfect for a merchandising leader who shares our passion for building something meaningful and lasting.What you'll do:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and lead the merchandising vision, ensuring alignment with Faherty's overall brand strategy, growth goals, and commitment to quality and timeless designBuild and manage seasonal merchandise strategies and product assortments that reflect consumer insights, business performance, market opportunities, and sustainability considerationsPartner closely with Design, Planning, Production, Wholesale, and Marketing to ensure cohesive seasonal storytelling and compelling product executionFoster cross-functional collaboration that embodies our 'All Together' approach to driving business successProduct & Assortment PlanningLead the line architecture, category mix, and pricing strategy to ensure a well-balanced and profitable assortment that maintains Faherty's commitment to qualityDrive SKU productivity, sell-through, and margin improvement through effective assortment and lifecycle planning across our omnichannel businessAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer data to identify white space opportunities and category expansion strategiesBalance data-driven decision making with intuitive brand sensibility to create assortments that resonate with our customersCustomer & Market InsightStay connected to the evolving needs of our customer and translate insights into product and category opportunitiesMonitor competitive landscape, emerging trends, and industry innovations to inform strategyBring innovative approaches to understanding and serving our diverse customer baseTeam LeadershipLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing merchandising team that embodies our 'Day One Passion' and is collaborative and results-orientedFoster a culture of innovation, curiosity, continuous improvement, and commitment to doing right by our people and communityBuild diverse, inclusive teams that reflect our values and bring varied perspectives to merchandising decisionsCollaborate cross-functionally with planning, sourcing, DTC, retail, and wholesale to deliver on business objectivesFinancial OwnershipManage top-down and bottom-up seasonal financial targets, including category-level plans, initial markups, margin goals, and inventory productivityPartner with Planning on in-season performance analysis and reforecasting to maximize sales and minimize riskDrive sustainable growth strategies that support both short-term performance and long-term brand buildingWhat you'll have:15+ years of merchandising experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on women's apparelProven track record of driving revenue and margin growth in a lifestyle or premium brandStrong understanding of the contemporary market, trend forecasting, and consumer behaviorExpertise in global merchandising and trend translationDeep product sensibility and passion for storytelling through assortmentsDemonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teamsExcellent analytical, financial acumen, and communication skillsHighly collaborative with a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in team building and market approachAbility to balance data-driven decision making with intuitive brand sensibilityAdditional nice to haves:Experience with sustainable or purpose-driven brandsOmnichannel merchandising experience across DTC and wholesale channelsTrack record of building and scaling women's apparel categoriesJoin us in building something special—where your merchandising expertise will help shape the future of a brand that's committed to making a positive impact while creating products people love.
