This role builds and nurtures relationships with key decision-makers across multiple levels of retail organizations and leads cross-functional efforts in assortment planning, in-store experience, education, and account-specific marketing. As a senior brand ambassador, the Director acts as a retail strategist, sales closer, and program architect across key accounts and national events.Essential FunctionsBuild, develop, and manage a team of field representatives who own account management and territory growth for their respective geographiesBuild and maintain high-impact relationships with retail decision-makers, including executives, regional leadership, L&D teams, buyers, and store managersLead account-specific business development, contract negotiations, and new opportunity pitching to close strategic sales growthOwn all aspects of the Love360 strategy within assigned accounts, including assortment planning, marketing integration, education, and in-store experienceDeliver compelling presentations and training seminars at retail partner locations and corporate events to enhance brand presence and product knowledgeCollaborate with internal teams to develop marketing plans, POP programs, digital campaigns, and product launches tailored to account needsServe as a key Bedgear brand champion at trade shows and major retail sales events, representing the company and product lineConduct competitive analysis during store visits and provide insights and merchandising recommendations to Sales and Brand leadershipMaintain retail call reports, visual merchandising compliance records, and in-store content feedback in SharePoint or relevant systemsCoordinate internal follow-up with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure successful execution of account programsMaintain a self-sufficient remote office setup and travel up to 75% of the time to manage field and partner-facing responsibilitiesSkillsExceptional relationship management and communication skills across all levels of an organizationDemonstrated success in managing and leading othersProven success in business development, sales presentations, and retail partnership managementStrong understanding of assortment strategy, store merchandising, and retail marketing executionAbility to lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Brand, Education, and Creative teamsStrong presentation and public speaking skills, including virtual and in-person facilitationExperience using CRM systems, retail tracking tools, and productivity platformsOrganizational and analytical skills for territory planning, program tracking, and reportingAbility to work independently and with a team, travel frequently, and adapt to changing partner needsMinimum RequirementsMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to provide documentationFluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer usageMust have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicleSuccessful completion of a criminal background check is requiredPreferred Education/QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferredMinimum 5+ years of marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in home furnishings, mattress, or consumer retailProven experience managing strategic retail partnerships and account-specific marketing programsExperience working remotely and independently in field-based sales rolesPhysical DemandsPhysical demands include travel up to 75% of the time with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
