The successful candidate will:Provide anesthesia care to pediatric and adult patientsParticipate in clinical operating room supervision, classroom teaching, and evaluations for residents and medical students as required by the department.Mentors students/residents in research and scholarly activities.Participate in administrative duties and on call assignments as required by the department clinical service.Provide in-patient care of neonates at University Hospital Brooklyn (UHB) in operating room and out-of-operating room locations, plus ambulatory patients at UHB and Bay Ridge location.Provide call coverage as required.Required Qualifications:New York State Medical License.Successful completion of training in an ACGME/accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.Board Certified/Board Eligible anesthesiologist.Pediatric Fellowship-trained or equivalent and Pediatric Board Certified.Preferred Qualifications:Work Schedule:Salary Grade/Rank:Salary Range:Commensurate with experience and qualificationsExecutive Order:Pursuant to Executive Order 161, no State entity, as defined by the Executive Order, is permitted to ask, or mandate, in any form, that an applicant for employment provide his or her current compensation, or any prior compensation history, until such time as the applicant is extended a conditional offer of employment with compensation.
