Beltran Lab - Precision Medicine and Prostate Cancer Research - HOMEThe Beltran Lab is focused on studying molecular mechanisms driving treatment resistance in prostate cancer and developing new therapeutic approaches for patients. We use genomic tools and preclinical modeling (patient derived organoid, PDX and mouse models) to elucidate the genomic landscape of disease and model its progression as seen in patients. We are specifically focused on the development of lineage plasticity and neuroendocrine prostate cancer.We are seeking a motivated and collaborative research scientist with expertise in prostate cancer research. This individual will coordinate and manage laboratory efforts on both mechanistic studies and collaborative projects. The candidate will work closely with a team of computational biologists, technicians, and post-docs to plan experiments as well as to analyze, present and publish research findings. The successful candidate will also have experience in managing both academic and industry collaborations.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care.
