Once you complete your application you must inform your current manager.Scope of PositionThe Food and Beverage Supervisor is actively engaged in the all the aspects of the daily operation of: Aura Restaurant. Tamo, Tamo Terrace, The loft, The Action Kitchen, In Room Dining, the Hospitality Suites and the Bakery Café. Effectively partners with their culinary counterpart to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. Is passionate about providing exceptional guest service and provides an exciting, energetic, fun, and professional place to work . Models our core values based on the belief that our team members should engage in being attentive, thoughtful, and act independently in a responsible manner. This position requires a high profile in all the food and beverage outlets. The position reports to the Manager of Food & Beverage Operations.Schedule RequirementsSchedule flexibility required. Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business. Working evenings, weekends and holidays will be a regular part of this position.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise activities in all outlets, Aura Restaurant. Tamo, Tamo Terrace, the Loft, The Action Kitchen, In Room Dining, the Hospitality Suites and the Bakery Café, to ensure guest satisfactionAddress guest requests and concernsUnderstand team member’s roles, responsibilities, and performance expectationsEffectively trains, develops and provides feedback to the team together with the Food and Beverage Management, maximizing productivity and ensuring compliance with the service standardsWork closely with team members in a coaching role to maintain strong team environment, placing emphasis on team member’s development and satisfactionAssist in identifying and implementing successful marketing programs for the outlets, thus achieving positive financial reportsEnsures compliance with department’s SOPs (Health and Safety, OSHA, food quality, service standards etc.)Complete administrative tasks/reports/projects as requiredResponsible for practicing, managing, and promoting our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operationCompletes any duties or projects assigned by the Management.Required Job Knowledge and SkillsPossess strong relationship skills and able to partner with their culinary counterpartPassion for developing and coaching peopleTrack record of achieving financial resultsStrong honesty, integrity, and guest-oriented philosophyPossess a passion for food & wine and a strong desire for developmentStrong knowledge of front of the house operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques and guest interactionAbility to communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand request, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate informationProven experience in effectively addressing customer concerns & balancing a demanding workloadMust be a self-starter with excellent presentation, customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsMust have ability to work under minimal supervision and with priority deadlinesAbility to provide original and creative suggestionsMust be computer literate, proficient in MS office and experienced with Info-GenesisQualificationsExperience:Minimum one year experience in a high-volume restaurantMinimum one year experience in a 4-star hotel.A proven track record and passion for developing people to reach goals and achieve financial results.Education:College degree or equivalent work experience preferredLanguage Skills:Fluency of the English language is required (read, write, speak)Must be able to listen to, read and/or write instructions, memos, short correspondences, and messages.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the person occupying this position.
