The Catering Director responsibilities include but not limited to- Promote GRO Catering in the entire Northwest Arkansas region, as well as Eastern Oklahoma and Southern Missouri.- Develop marketing plans to achieve sales goals.- Negotiate contracts for events based on company guidelines.- Product purchasing for all events.- Cost control of food and labor- Equipment rental or purchasing as well as maintaining.- Recruiting, hiring and training of staff.- Plan logistics for events ranging from 25 guest to 2000 guest.- Maintaining the vast current list of clients.- Acquiring new clients.- Active in the communities, such as the local Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit organizations etc...- Quality control and food safety guidelines are exceeded.- Active at events from the food ordering through service.- Be willing to be hands on at any event.- Basic knowledge of computer programs.- Event planning experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
