The Hadar Institute is a center of Jewish learning that builds vibrant egalitarian communities in North America and Israel. Our vision for Jewish life is rooted in rigorous and nuanced Torah study, gender equality, meaningful Jewish practice, and the values of kindness and compassion.The Director of Hadar Chicago will oversee all aspects of Hadar’s involvement in Chicago, building community, running local programing, growing Hadar Community Groups, and connecting individuals and institutions with Hadar’s national programing. The Director will act as the face of Hadar with Chicago area community members, donors, and partnering organizations, and will represent Hadar Chicago at local and national events and conferences. This position will build relationships across the community, engaging people already in our Hadar network and reaching new community members.The Director of Hadar Chicago will also represent Hadar as a teacher, both locally and as part of Hadar’s national programs.
