OverviewAustralian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian education organisation whose mission is to develop each student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish and to be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), with 17 schools in 5 states, and is the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in Albany. There are approximately 310 students on-campus from Kindergarten to Year 12 with a further 700 students from Pre-primary to Year 12 in Distance Education. We are focused on sustainably stewarding God’s creation and aim for all students to be well known, well loved, and well taught. We are seeking an enthusiastic HPE and Outdoor Education Faculty Leader (0.2 FTE) who will also teach Health & Physical Education or Outdoor Education across Secondary. This is a leadership role within the faculty, with responsibility for curriculum oversight, team management and coordination, and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. The applicant should have a passion for coming alongside staff and students so that they are "well known, well loved, and well taught".The position involves working with children.
