OverviewAustralian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian education organisation whose mission is to develop each student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish and to be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), with 17 schools in 5 states, and is the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in Albany. There are approximately 310 students on-campus from Kindergarten to Year 12 with a further 700 students from Pre-primary to Year 12 in Distance Education. We are focused on sustainably stewarding God’s creation and aim for all students to be well known, well loved, and well taught. We are seeking an enthusiastic HPE and Outdoor Education Faculty Leader (0.2 FTE) who will also teach Health & Physical Education or Outdoor Education across Secondary. This is a leadership role within the faculty, with responsibility for curriculum oversight, team management and coordination, and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. The applicant should have a passion for coming alongside staff and students so that they are "well known, well loved, and well taught".The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy.This role is set to start Term 1 2026.RequirementsAbout youBe able to display the capacity to improve staff and student learning and wellbeing outcomes.Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and leadership, and implement changes.Be able to effectively plan and run events and carnivals in a range of sports.Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and TRBWA accreditation (or be eligible).Work within a school leadership that has a clear Christian vision and a strong Christian cultureCompetitive salary package (including salary packaging options)Employee benefits including EAPPlay an active part in growing the school and providing quality Christian care to students.How to ApplyOnly applicants who apply via the link below will be considered: #J-18808-Ljbffr
