Build the next era of commercial real estate education.The CCIM Institute is hiring a Vice President of Education to set the vision and lead execution across the portfolio of educational offerings to advance commercial real estate professionals, including the gold standard CCIM Designation. Ward Center for Commercial Real Estate Studies (Continuing Education) programs, with a strong emphasis on program quality, learner experience, learner outcomes, and operational efficiency.Own a multi-year portfolio roadmap across in-person, virtual live, and on-demand; keep the catalog current and market?relevant and curate Forums/Summits and “Currently Commercial” content aligned to market needs and measurable outcomes.Lead national and chapter scheduling to expand learning access, balance instructor workload, and ensure balanced geographic coverage; own the master instructional calendar and resource plan; continuously monitor demand forecasts and registrations to make forward-looking recommendations and implement smart scheduling adjustments.Oversee a team responsible in implementing curriculum updates and related programs, certificates and skills programs with university outreach, and scheduling/licensing, Ward Center management, new course development, and licensee support.Quality, assessment, and global complianceDefine program and course-level learning outcomes and ensure assessments align so results reliably indicate competence.Champion exam integrity: set clear standards, keep questions current, ensure secure, fair testing, and act quickly when issues arise.Maintain CE approvals and audit readiness across jurisdictions, including timely reporting and records retention.Embed accessibility and privacy standards, uphold academic integrity with clear, consistent policies, and set procedures for international delivery to ensure consistent global delivery without sacrificing quality.Data & learning systemsMaintain dashboards that track KPIs such as learner progression and time?to?completion, pipeline conversion, program engagement, and course utilization, and set quarterly targets with reporting.Partner with Marketing and Membership to develop holistic approaches that gain and maintain student enrollment and membership engagement through educational programs; use insights to refine programs and scale proven approaches.Serve as business owner for the learning management system (LMS): roadmap, user experience, adoption, uptime/service levels, and integrations supporting enrollment rules, continuing education reporting, assessments/proctoring, credentialing, and analytics.Oversee the team responsible in implementing platform operations and improvements, instructor training materials, online course monitoring, and the online comprehensive exam, and enforce data governance (roles/permissions, privacy, retention) to enable actionable data and reporting.Financial strategy & growthOwn the Education profit and loss (approximately $6M) and annual budget. Set targets, review actuals monthly, and forecast with the Chief Financial Officer at least quarterly; make timely adjustments to pricing, capacity, and delivery mix to meet goals.Lead pricing and packaging: establish pricing strategy and promotion guardrails, and design bundles that accelerate course progression and movement through the CCIM Designation pipeline.Coordinate with The CCIM Foundation on scholarship design and targeting to expand access and accelerate progress toward the CCIM Designation.Develop growth partnerships (associations, universities, corporate buyers) and align with Marketing on campaigns that convert.People leadership and continuing education oversightOversee the team responsible in leading 60+ certified instructors: recruitment and training, communications, performance monitoring and recertification, assignments and evaluations, workforce planning and succession, and coverage for high-demand subjects and regions, including staffing of the Faculty Subcommittee.Strengthen the instructor lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and professional development, with performance tiers tied to outcomes and evaluations.Lead the Education staff team and own instructor ethics standards and agreements; clarify roles, set goals, coach performance, manage contracts, and recognize wins.Publish service level standards for education service (response and resolution times, grade and continuing education posting); monitor weekly and address gaps with clear owners and timelines.Lead educational career counseling and standardized advising. Help students understand the value of our education, choose a clear pathway through the curriculum, and stay on track to successful completion; equip staff with practical guidance tools to deliver a consistent experience.Coordinate accommodations and proctoring; identify at-risk learners early and offer targeted interventions to raise completion and pass rates.Direct end-to-end CE processing: attendance validation, certificate issuance, jurisdiction reporting, with regular audits for accuracy and timeliness.About You Knowledge and abilities10+ years’ relevant experience in education management, either corporate orStrong business skills, including the ability to manage and grow a complex business across a portfolio of offerings with total annual revenue of approximately $6M.Proven capability in effectively leading a performance-based and outcome-based program and staff.
