This includes, but is not limited to lifeguards, aerobics classes, swimming lessons and pool maintenance. The primary function of the role is constantly developing and growing the success of the aquatic department in Fort Collins, CO by taking extreme ownership over aquatics programming , staffing, and maintenance/care for the 7 bodies of water in our 2 clubs. Specifically we measure success in terms of department revenue, member engagement, and overall member experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Execute/create aquatic proceduresDevelop and implement aquatics policiesMeet regularly with club managers to discuss club goalsTrain all instructors to teach safe and effective classesTrain all instructors to help, assist, motivate and retain all membersResponsible for organizing and scheduling all group classes as neededMaintain equipment, pool and equipment storage areasPrepare and discuss weekly/monthly aquatic reports with Regional and Club ManagersPromote all classes and events internally and externallyAttends all staff and club meetings and eventsEstablish and maintain professional relationships with members and staffEnsures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situationsPreform other duties and assignments as necessary or requiredExpectations:Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health ClubsProvide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectivesDevelop and build a team atmosphere among staff and departmentAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from membersJob Requirements:Available to work weekends, evenings and holidaysMust hold current CPR and First Aid certificationAbility to work well with othersCustomer service abilitiesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking #J-18808-Ljbffr
