Youth Ministry Director - First Presbyterian Church of Evanston - EvanstonWhat You'll Do:• Develop and oversee a fun and engaging curriculum for youth (grades 6th-12th).• Design a fun and engaging youth program in partnership with the church council that oversees children's and youth programming.• Lead and empower a team of dedicated volunteers. Recruit, equip, and train new volunteers, fostering a spirit of teamwork and service.• Develop and lead weekly Sunday morning Christian education programs.• Coordinate special events (including annual retreat, confirmation class, baptisms, and mission trip) throughout the year, making church a place where kids love to be.• Use and hone organizational skills: Follow a safety plan including maintaining a database of background-checked volunteers, stay within a budget, organize spaces and resources.• Partner with staff to integrate youth programs into the broader church life, building a united community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
