This position demands a thorough understanding of the sales process, emphasizing lead generation, relationship-building, and earning business. The ASM will utilize strong negotiation skills and effectively present our products to attract new leads and nurture connections. Additionally, this role involves delivering impactful presentations and representing the company at networking events and trade shows, striking a balance between professionalism and approachability. The ASM also leads, trains, and oversees Sales & Merchandising representatives and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) staff, ensuring a cohesive and effective team.Principal DutiesPartner with local distributors and wholesalers to promote and sell our brand portfolio to retailersJoin Sales & Merchandising reps and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) reps on ride-alongs to support selling, merchandising, training, relationship management, and regularly assess their performanceEnsure prime in-store merchandising space, complete SKU availability, strategic POS placements, and increased distribution pointsMaintain all equipment, racks, signage, and POS materials updated, clean, and visually displayed in an appealing mannerBuild and maintain strong, positive relationship with retail store owners, managers, and their staffFocus on establishing new accounts within your assigned territory, oversee existing accounts, and keep in regular communication with primary contactsDrive sales growth in the territory in line with targets set by the Business Development ManagerAssist in coordinating sales efforts across different territories and provide support to other sales representativesParticipate in evening and weekend promotions and special events as neededUtilize CRM software to track and monitor account activity, optimize routing, follow up, and leverage analytics for informed business decisions and sales strategiesCreate optimal routing for store visits on a weekly basis, minimizing travel time while maximizing sales reach and efficiencyAnalyze store visit reports from the CRM to identify areas for improvement and replicate successful efforts and strategiesExecute quarterly blitzes with the regional team, led by the Sales DirectorConduct regular Sales Team calls with your Sales & Merchandising representatives to establish a clear action plan for store visits and merchandising implementation, address out-of-stock issues, confirm inventory plans, provide updates on promotional execution and adjustments, and enhance overall coordination for in-store operations and sales growth.Perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExceptional communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skillsStrong ability to balance persuasion with professionalismProficient in selling, negotiation, and effective communicationStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations that meet audience needsExcellent relationship management skills and receptiveness to feedbackQualificationsMinimum three (3) years of sales experience in the beverage industry, preferably non-alcoholic Direct Selling experience in the beverage industryAt least one (1) year in a supervisory or managerial positionHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferredProficient in computer usage, with a working knowledge of MS OfficeExperience with sales management software and CRM toolsHighly motivated and target-driven, with a proven sales track recordAbility and willingness to travel up to 90% within the assigned territoryOther RequirementsLegally authorized to work in the USAReliable transportationValid driver license and active auto insurance policyFluent in EnglishPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended period of times while driving to locationsAbility to stand, walk, occasionally lift, and carry objects (up to 40 ponds)The above statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the principal functions of the occupation and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherited in the occupation.Cab Enterprises Inc. is committed to maintaining a work environment that promotes diversity and is free of discrimination.
