Through engaging experiences that emphasize fun and togetherness, Nectar Life is reinventing the personal care market by making pure joy the primary ingredient.Reports to: Store Sales Manager, Assistant Store Sales ManagerDirect Reports: Sales SpecialistPrimary Purpose: The Sales Lead drives sales growth by personally selling deep and across all product categories and delivering emotionally engaging customer experiences – consistent with the brand vision. The Sales Lead promotes a high-performance selling culture by directly managing peers.We are looking for Sales Leads to join our team at our new Downtown Disney location, opening in Spring 2025!Salary: $19/hr + commission + tipsKey Responsibilities:Drives top line store sales and growth by personally selling to customersLeads the sales floor and drives store results through the sales team and creating a selling environmentOversees customer experience, overall appearance and day to day operations of the store, in partnership (or in absence of) with the Store Sales Manager/Assistant Sales ManagerMoves with intention throughout the store, connecting with multiple customersProactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds effectivelyCreates a memorable connection by asking effective questions to identify customer needs and make a compelling product recommendationUses confident selling statement and is effective at overcoming customer objectionsDisplays expert product knowledge and takes initiative to elevate personal and peer knowledge of product categoriesParticipates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual performance towards the goalMakes it a priority to understand the business and offers suggestions on how the store can be more productiveCreates enthusiasm for selling strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others’ selling behaviorsAssists in training of new associates, serving as a shadow partnerDelivers a friendly and efficient point of sale (POS) experience processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.Responsible to meet minimum monthly sales targetAll retail employees at Nectar Bath Treats are responsible for:Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivityCreating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicableSetting personal goals and tracking individual and team performance to the goalsPreparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable POS proceduresTaking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sellUnderstanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standardsAssisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issuesKeeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss preventionSupporting all activities related to providing a safe working environmentUnderstanding and demonstrating Company valuesLeads and or participates in the company’s personal development and philanthropic initiativesSuccess Measures (as applicable):Sales Goals and CompsAverage Dollar Sales (ADS)Transactions Per HourLoyaltyShrinkPayrollRetention of top talentEmployee Opinion Survey ResultsQualificationsQualifications:Previous experience leading associate teamsProven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team is preferredDemonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive loyaltyProven ability to effectively delegate, follow up and communicate with all levels of the organizationDemonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skillsDemonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performanceDemonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skillsDemonstrates excellent visual merchandising skillsDemonstrates strong product knowledgeContributes to and thrives in a sales-driven culture.Enjoys fostering positive interactions with individuals of all age groups, particularly fortable adhering to a uniform policy, including wearing a distinctive pink apron.Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and proficient in restocking, cleaning, and conducting inventory counts.Adherence to a no-facial-piercing policy.Embraces a family-focused company culture; covers any inappropriate tattoos during work hours.Schedule flexibility to include nights and weekends.
