The key objectives of this role are to grow, develop, and lead a team comprised of Field Support Specialists and Regional Training Specialists. This team is responsible for training clinicians and supporting hospital critical care blood gas analyzers and biotechnology chemistry analyzers. The Regional Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing activities in the region including but not limited to installation, training, emergency service and preventive maintenance of Nova Biomedical diagnostic instrumentation in both the clinical and biotechnology market share.Responsibilities include:Regional Management of direct Field Service ReportsRegional Management of direct Training SpecialistsRegional Inventory Management and ControlRegional Expense Control and Revenue GenerationRegional Field service and Training Metric PerformanceRegional Performance ReviewsRegional Customer Visits to Problem Accounts and ImplementationsRegional Problem Account Performance Improvement PlansRegional Onsite Technical Consultant for other FSS'sWeekend Manager On-call RotationRegional Pay Plan, Hiring, Revenue and Expense Control BudgetsQualificationsClinical lab knowledge and/or experience is ideal for this position.Ability to lead, manage and motivate field service personnel.A Medical Technologist, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or Electronics background preferred.Requires above average communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.Requires a person who will travel within the assigned region.Requires a driver's license in home state and a good driving record; and a nationally accepted credit card with an acceptable credit limit for use during job responsibilities.The ability to travel by car or airplane for prolonged periods.The ability to work in a standing or sitting position for prolonged periods.Minimum 3 years of Service Management experience preferred.Skills and CompetenciesExcellent Interpersonal, People, and Problem Solving SkillsCan Do, Customer First AttitudeThorough Knowledge of Nova ProductsAbility to Fix Instruments and CustomersComputer SkillsManagement Skills and Leadership SkillsAt Nova Biomedical, we practice our core values of mutual respect, honesty, and integrity throughout the company.
