AMR Sales Finance Technical Program ManagerCupertino, California, United States Corporate FunctionsDescriptionWe are looking for an individual who has the right mix of people management, program management, and technical skills to successfully refine and deliver finance initiatives. The position will require the ability to: complete business process analysis, drive complex data analysis, develop data strategies and implement governance frameworks. You must be self-motivated, comfortable working with minimal direction in a global, fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. You have exceptional analytical skills, a maniacal attention to detail, and a proven ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. You’ll build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make your projects successful. You are passionate about new technologies and teaching those around you. The ideal candidate should have experience managing global technical projects that interweave across multiple functional teams, including finance. You should be able to leverage your strong verbal skills to articulate priorities, trade offs, and explain technical concepts in business context to senior leaders.The duties and responsibilities are very diverse, but include the following:- Partner with cross-functional leadership to define and gain buy-in on a long-term vision and roadmap.- Champion process adoption through collaboration, documentation, and negotiation- Own projects from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules.- Use current programming languages and technologies to champion code based solutions for the AMR Sales Finance team.- Set the standards and tools in which the Sales Finance team completes its work.- Partner with technical teams to design and develop requirements into workable solutions and lead the solution for the Sales Finance organizationMinimum QualificationsMinimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis, planning, strategy, and/or program and portfolio management roles2+ years proven experience managing, developing and coaching as leader of a teamBachelors of Science (BS) or equivalent degree in Finance, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a field required.Preferred QualificationsConsistent track record of leading strategic projects, combined with the ability to implement tactical project-level activitiesAbility to deliver large scale initiatives in a timely manner with high levels of complexity and ambiguityDeep understanding and ability to quickly learn the end-to-end business processes of a large, multi-geo, multi-function organizationAbility to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal partners, including strong prioritization and project management skillsProficient knowledge in process mapping and other process analysis techniquesProficient knowledge of systems implementation and development lifecyclesTechnical savvy required to effectively discuss and strategize on solutions with IT teamsExperience managing and influencing technical teamsExperience with core data management around customer data and channel data experience a plusExperience with data capture with external partners on a daily and weekly frequency a plusExperience with business migration of large datasets to new platform a plusAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,400 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
