With offices in Dallas, Montreal, and Sydney, and an expansive remote workforce across the globe, our diverse backgrounds give us the experience needed to create incredible events for any industry, anywhere in the world.Leap Event Technology is looking for a dynamic and passionate Director of Sales with experience selling to live events, including sports brands and leagues, casinos, venues, and attractions. The ideal candidate will have ticketing, mobile app platform, and/or SaaS selling background and will be the primary driver for new business development, creating cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and fostering strong, long-term relationships with our partners. The Director of Sales will analyze prospects’ technology challenges in order to align the right solutions from the Leap Event Technology portfolio of product and services. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a customer success-driven personality and creative problem solving abilities along with excellent communication skills.Sounds interesting? Let’s talk.AS A SALES DIRECTOR, SPORTS AND AGENCIES YOU WILL:Build a book of business by identifying and selling Leap Event Technology products and services to qualified prospectsMeet and exceed sales quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing new business opportunitiesQuickly grasp prospect’s business and technical requirements and fit solutions around those specific needsTrack and maintain all prospect interaction and transactional information in SalesforceManage all phases of the sales cycle from first call to successful close (including proposal development, scope definition, client presentations and contract preparation)Apply consistent and efficient forecasting practicesConduct product demos via video conferencing software for prospects and clientsProactively pursue and hunt for new business opportunitiesManage client expectations during the sales and implementation processMaintain and nurture client relationships to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunitiesUnderstand the competitive landscape and Leap Event Technology differentiators to ultimately outmaneuver competition in head-to-head proposalsWork closely with the Account Management team to ensure client satisfaction and win renewal businessWill actively collaborate with the Lead Generation Team to pursue qualified leads and identify new business opportunities and targets for outbound campaigns.EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sales, marketing, or business administration preferredMinimum 5+ years of experience in complex sales, solution selling, or strategic accounts sellingPassion for technology and live eventsDesire to explore and understand new platformsProven track record of meeting and exceeding quotasPrior experience selling ticketing, entertainment/sports technology, marketing, sales, CRM or other SaaS related services is a strong plusStrong knowledge of Salesforce for account, quota and opportunity managementExcellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentationSelf-starter and ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities, projects, and resourcesAvailable for occasional travel in North America for sales meetings and industry eventsFluency in multiple languages is a plusDirect experience selling within the sports and agencies industryBENEFITS:We offerMedical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary benefitsGenerous PTOPaid parental leave (following 12 months of continuous employment)401K MatchOFFICE INFORMATION:Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company.
