We take a consultative approach to selling bundled solutions that cross multiple products and include both technology and services.The leveraged loan market is at an all-time high in terms of outstanding issuance. Investment managers are looking for scalable operations and technology solutions with rich data to help them make more informed investment decisions. Virtus from FIS is uniquely positioned to address this direct need in the credit market with an unparalleled suite of solutions.What you will be doingCover a list of assigned prospective accounts that have no existing business with the firm today.Qualify leads by gathering information on a prospect’s existing infrastructure, business model, and third-party relationships.Effectively penetrating C-suite and management level contacts at each firmUnderstanding of the competitive landscape in the leveraged loan space and differentiating our products and services to win businessResponsible for leading the company’s efforts in sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, internal training, assessing services and proposals related to our productsBuild annual strategic sales plans around potential buyer client segments including CLO managers, direct lenders, insurance companies, investment banks, registered investment advisors, and regional banks with measurable goals, calling plans, opportunity sets, and strategiesApply a consultative approach and ability to direct our resources in analyzing customers’ business and technology requirements and developing customized and bundled solutions to fit the needs of our clientsMonitor and understand customer needs, market and economic trends as well as business opportunities and threats in order to identify needs and opportunities in the market and drive revenue growthPartner with functional leaders (Product, Client Services, Marketing, Executive Management) to ensure full leverage of all available resources to drive value and secure top positions in the structured credit, middle office outsourcing, direct lending, and front office technology spacesWhat you bring:Strong understanding of the credit space and structured finance, including familiarity with deal structures, operational and technological requirements, and competitors.A deep list of relevant contacts and relationships in the credit space that would be well suited for our suite of solutionsA comprehensive knowledge and experience of the sale cycle and business development process, which includes maintaining close relationships with prospects, facilitating and coordinating internal resources to deliver best-in-class demos and presentations, and following through on opportunities through executionBonus if you have:Experience working at a competitor or another firm in the Structured Credit (CLO) industryExperience working with Product Management to give our products a competitive advantage.What we offer youCompetitive salary and excellent bonus potential (upon entering a full sales executive role)Attractive benefits including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insuranceThe chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technologyFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $116,780.00 - $192,690.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
