Head of US Federal, Aerospace, and Defense for Digital IndustriesJoin to apply for the Head of US Federal, Aerospace, and Defense for Digital Industries role at Siemens.Siemens is seeking a senior leader responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the U.S. Federal Agencies, Aerospace, and Defense sectors for Digital Industries, driving profit, growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The role requires an adaptive leadership style to engage with teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust, development, collaboration, and diversity as a priority.You will make an impact by:Lead and oversee the FA&D business unit, deploying Siemens/' portfolio and automation solutions across the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, other Federal Agencies (e.g., DOT, DHS), and major A&D OEMs and commercial aerospace customersStrategically lead and empower multiple sales teams, fostering their development and ensuring accountability for exceptional resultsDevelop and execute comprehensive market strategies for the DoD and A&D sectors, coordinating between business development, government affairs, federal sales teams, and A&D OEM coverageManage ongoing analysis of FA&D markets; identify threats and opportunities; recommend and implement changes to strategy and positioningDrive assessment of growth opportunities and coordinate with internal stakeholders to screen potential opportunitiesDevelop relationships with customers and regional/country sales, execution, and marketing to translate customer needs into actionable requirementsProvide thought leadership focused on end-users in the FA&D sectorsOversee and grow the FA&D business segmentYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience selling large strategic enterprise solutions to the DoD with ability to navigate complex sales cycles, or equivalent large OEM customer sales experienceStrong history of quota achievement over career5+ years of demonstrated experience in relevant Information Technology/Operational Technology marketsExperience with government contracting and contract vehiclesExecutive leadership, negotiating, and influencing skillsExcellent public speaking, written, and oral communication skillsStrong organizational abilities and strategic thinking capabilitiesLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship (mandatory due to DoD client policies and procedures)Preferred Qualifications:Military background (advantageous for understanding the industry we serve)Minimum of 8 years of experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing sales teams4-year college degree or equivalent work experienceExperience with Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Demonstrated ability to get results in complex customer environmentsProven ability in identifying vertical market opportunities and commercializing solutionsAbout SiemensWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
