You will have an environment to explore and experience emerging, and relevant topics based on your interests and alignment to your short and long-term career goals.We are seeking a Senior Manager in the energy and infrastructure financial modeling solutions space, who will perform and manage independent model development of various financial models.What You Will DoWorking directly with infrastructure funds, lenders, developers, and asset managers to provide financial modeling, due diligence, consulting, and valuation services.Develop trusted relationships with our clients in the Americas, ensuring quality deliverables and business growth across financial modeling and other service lines.Building financial models underpinning transactions in infrastructure, energy, and natural resources sectors, based on project documentation, workshops, tax/accounting reports and market intelligence.Supporting US tax equity transactions with financial modeling and analysis.Sharing your experience and Forvis Mazars' financial modeling methodology in workshops and training courses with clients.Leading, coaching, training, and reviewing the work of modeling analysts.Be an active collaborator within the global team, and the global financial modeling service line community.Financial management of projects, including billing and debt collection, and reporting on their progress to the director/partner team.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or finance.10 years or more of experience related to financial analysis and modeling, gained while working in infrastructure or similar sector with an institutional investor, a developer, an investment bank, a professional services firm or a governmental infrastructure agency.Specific experience in infrastructure and energy asset classes, with a strong commercial understanding of project structuring, documentation and financing and the ability to develop complex financial models independently.Previous experience of managing or supervising junior financial modelers.Preferred QualificationsCPA, CFA or other advanced designations considered an assetPractical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting/tax concepts and principals considered an asset.Understanding of renewable energy markets including the modeling of US tax equity structures considered an asset.Superior analytical skills and capacity to provide quality deliverables with an attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders and counterparties.New York Pay TransparencyPursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
