Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr This is a highly visible and strategic role supporting a platform. Role overview As Head of Finance, you'll drive financial oversight and execution for acquisitions, dispositions, securitizations, and fund operations—while leading a multi-location finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, collaborative CPA with deep real estate debt experience to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Partner with the business team to provide financial input on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and securitization transactions Lead and mentor a multi-office Finance Team, fostering ownership, efficiency, and collaboration Manage third-party relationships including fund administrators, external audit, and tax firms Oversee daily liquidity planning and cash flow management for seamless execution of new investments Drive improvements in financial reporting processes through automation, coordination with fund administrators, and leveraging ops teams Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Valuation, Tax, Treasury, and global finance teams) to ensure a timely and accurate close process Act as a key point of contact with senior finance leadership in New York and participate in firm-wide finance initiatives Foster an environment of open communication, proactive problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration Qualifications 15+ years of finance and accounting experience CPA required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Background in Big 4 public accounting combined with private industry experience preferred Demonstrated experience in Mortgages or Loans or similar alternatives platforms Proven leadership and team development skills Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Finance and Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr
