We focus on building trust, expertise, and partnerships to shape the skylines of tomorrow through planning, approvals, and project execution.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Permitting for our Project Delivery team. This role involves managing high-profile permitting projects in DC, MD, and VA, collaborating with clients, municipal agencies, and internal teams to ensure on-time, seamless project delivery and excellent service standards.ResponsibilitiesManage permit-related projects from filing to completion.Coordinate with clients, plans examiners, and internal teams.Act as the main contact for assigned projects, providing updates and managing expectations.Oversee deliverables, timelines, and risk management; resolve challenges professionally.Ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.Prepare reports and updates for leadership and clients.Contribute to productivity and process improvements.Mentor team members.QualificationsRequired:3+ years of permitting or entitlements experience in the Mid-Atlantic.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience working with project teams and motivating stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple complex projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.Reside in Maryland or Virginia.Preferred:Knowledge of permitting workflows, municipal codes, and development processes.Experience with multi-state or retail/hospitality/commercial projects.Work Environment & ScheduleRemote position focused on the Mid-Atlantic region.Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 40+ hours/week.Willingness to travel within the region for in-person meetings and submissions; travel expenses pensation & BenefitsSalary: $80,000 – $90,000, depending on experience.Health, dental, vision insurance; 401K with match.Paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days.Cell stipend and commuter benefits.Opportunities for career growth.Milrose Consultants, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
