This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our high leverage team working on building outstanding new experiences!Role ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain scalable solutions across PC and other off-console platformsProduce excellent, detailed design and development documentationWork with multi-functional team members to deliver features on time, respond to evolving requirements, and strategic shifts in directionFamiliar and comfortable with Agile/Scrum software development methodologyQualifications2+ years of programming experience in C/C++/C#/Java (or equivalent client development) developing Win32/64 apps, SDK, object-oriented design and design patterns, and passionate about writing high quality and well-architected codeExperience with Windows/PC Security software developmentExperience in building and debugging high-performance and secure Windows applications or SDKs.Strong understanding of engineering standard methodologies – requirement gathering and analysis, design and develop secure and scalable code with unit tests, participate in code reviews and documentation; experience with multiple technology stacksAbility to balance periodic on-call duty, and defensive engineering to minimize impactStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's degree is a plus.Advantageous but not requiredExperience with Web Services frontend and/or backend developmentExperience with security technology such as cryptography, SSL, code obfuscation, anti-tamper, tokenization, or digital signaturesPlease refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights.At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and addition, this role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.
