You'll become a critical part in how we successfully solve our clients' biggest challenges, deliver on promise, and innovate the client's physical/virtual infrastructure for the future.Our work depends on a Virtualization Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.As a Virtualization Engineer supporting the Government, you will be responsible for physical/virtual platforms, server build deployments, server virtualization, hyperconverged platforms, this role, a typical day will include:Design and build virtual environment service models including Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-ServiceIdentify, design, and implement process improvements for the virtualization of and distribution of applications: automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability Designs, implements, and maintains VMWare vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN.Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops system architecture and system design documentation Interacts with the Government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflictsResponsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibilityRequirements10+ Years of experience in relevant field and a High School DiplomaStrong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM Proficiency in configuring and optimizing virtual machines, storage, and networkingKnowledge with configuration of virtual switchesVLANs VMware Certified Professional certificationBenefitsEssential Network Security (ENS) Solutions, LLC is a service-disabled veteran owned, highly regarded IT consulting and management firm.
