OverviewSenior Principal Business Architect, Enterprise Architecture at Invesco US. This role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team and focuses on leading business architecture for a domain (Investments, Distribution, Corporate), working with domain teams to understand future needs, assess impacts of change on business capabilities, and identify required people, process, data and technology changes.ResponsibilitiesLead the business architecture for a specified Business Domain (Investments, Distribution or Corporate) and act as the front door for related requests.Understand current pain points with business partners and help build capability-based roadmaps for future change.Develop business architecture artefacts, including capabilities, value streams and strategy mapping.Articulate problem statements and own the Architecture Impact Assessment of new changes.Promote the vision and strategy for the Business Architecture capability and drive adoption of tools and processes.Validate and enrich existing business capability structures and foster adoption through partnerships with business units across Investments, Distribution and Corporate.Collaborate with other architects to inform the design and implementation of products and services.Promote business architecture standard methodology and maintain documentation within Enterprise Architecture tools.QualificationsMinimum 4 years of Business Architecture experience.Recognized expert in Business Architecture, ideally within financial services.Experience in a senior Architecture role, leading engagement with broad business areas and assessing gaps to future strategy.Experience using an enterprise architecture tool (Ardoq preferred) to provide business architecture insights.Strong experience working with engineering teams and business partners implementing architecture strategies.Knowledge of BizBok and proficiency with ArchiMate or other modelling techniques for business strategy and motivation (technology and application layers desirable).Certifications: CBA (Certified Business Architect) preferred.Strong business acumen in financial services, investments, and asset management.Excellent consultancy skills and ability to influence and lead without direct line management; strong stakeholder management with senior partners.Role DetailsFull Time / Full-timeWorker Type: EmployeeJob Exempt: YesWorkplace Model: Invesco’s Workplace Policy requires spending time in an Invesco office (as of Oct 1, 2025, at least four full days per week).The information in this description is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role and is not a comprehensive inventory of duties and qualifications.
