Together, we're building a better tomorrow for our employees, customers, partners, and communities.What You'll DoAs a key leader on the Samsung Semiconductor Total Rewards team, you will manage our U.S. immigration program and support our global mobility initiatives, working closely with HR Business Partners, Legal Counsel, external immigration providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and compliant immigration and mobility this role, you will manage a program that has a significant impact on our business. Our Flexible Work policy will provide opportunities for you to work at your location from time to time to help you achieve balance and optimize productivityOversee the immigration program, manage and mentor our Immigration Specialist and lead efforts to coordinate seamlessly across our talent acquisition team, HR business partners, and our foreign employees and their managers in partnership with external immigration counsel to process work visas and visa extensionsDeliver an excellent employee experience, ensuring all escalated issues are handled in a timely manner and resolution is well communicated while ensuring compliance with applicable immigration laws, regulations, and company policiesLead communication and outreach efforts to ensure effective information flow to key internal constituentsProduce monthly immigration and mobility dashboards and create and monitor analytics that gauge program effectiveness and reveal improvement opportunity areas; develop interventions to address findingsClosely monitor the immigration landscape, staying abreast of legislative changes and potential impacts to our program; develop strategies and tactics to adapt to the changing legal environmentMaintain current knowledge of immigration requirements and mobility program best practices and serve as an internal subject-matter expert and advisor on local and global mobility programsProgram manage our USA global mobility programs and assist with escalation needs as appropriate. Ensure vendor relationship is managed well. Serve as US subject matter expert for mobility initiatives stemming from Headquarters in South Korea.Maintain and manage immigration records and reporting in local and third-party systemsSupport your direct report, empowering their achievements, facilitating self-management, developing growth opportunities, and proactively planning for the plete other responsibilities as assigned.What You BringBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.7+ years of experience managing immigration and mobility program activities with at least 5 years' experience with US immigration program management.Previous people management experience.Excellent mentoring, problem solving, organizational, analytical, communication and employee service skills with sharp attention to details.Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure with competing demands and stakeholders.Working knowledge of Workday strongly.Paralegal or related experience is.You're inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.You're collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming novative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.#LI-SF1What We OfferThe pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions.
