Job Description

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide support in areas of 401(k), payroll, workers’ compensation, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA recordkeeping.Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, SOX, ERISA, and oversee mandated reporting to relevant agencies.Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions; ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.Assist in preparing records and administering benefit programs, personnel changes (hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations), and employee statistics for government reporting.Provide backup assistance for payroll processing and attendance tracking.Conduct training and orientation sessions on company policies, benefits, safety, and harassment prevention for new employees.Assist in administering performance improvement plans, review programs, and disciplinary vestigate employee complaints, assist with counseling, and recommend actions on employee relations issues.Conduct exit interviews, and analyze trends in turnover and absenteeism.Perform annual market rate reviews, research, and provide recommendations.Reconcile monthly billing/invoices for group benefits and resolve conflicts.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.Proficient in HR systems, payroll software, spreadsheets, word processing, and publishing tools.Effective multitasking skills.Proven leadership abilities, initiative, and ownership of projects.Limited travel required.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustry: Internet Publishing #J-18808-Ljbffr
