Carefree Title Branch Manager

ResponsibilitiesIn addition to daily escrow officer duties, oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including activities and reporting. Provide guidance to staff and be knowledgeable about company escrow and title policies and procedures.Essential duties include the following; other duties may be assigned.Adjust workload within the branch.Assist staff with difficult transactions.Review branch invoices for payment.Track and record employees' vacation and sick leave.Review and approve staff timesheets.Develop escrow documents according to established policies.Maintain escrow records and act as an escrow agent.Draw or direct the processing of escrow instructions.Facilitate escrow processes by reviewing preliminary reports to:Ensure transfer documents are consistent with the preliminary report and authorized in escrow instructions.Verify escrow is prepared to issue required insurance policies.Prepare documentation for issuing title insurance policies in accordance with escrow principles.Reconcile instructions with preliminary reports with the Title Department and principals, assisting in obtaining lien releases as needed.Open escrow transactions and gather necessary documentation per policies and regulations.Confirm and implement terms in escrow instructions related to financing, sale, or exchange of real property.Maintain regular and predictable attendance at the branch.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.At least 3 years of experience handling escrow transactions as an escrow officer.Escrow Officer Certification from the Escrow Association or completion of escrow officer training is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Leadership ability and capacity to mentor the escrow team.Performance evaluation skills.Guidance and problem-solving skills for employee issues.Strong understanding of title and escrow principles and procedures.OverviewAre you seeking an exciting career opportunity?
