4 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThe Cloud Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving our cloud IT infrastructure, systems, security, and cloud service provider accounts (AWS). This role collaborates closely with the development, DevOps, and security teams to optimize and secure product operations for our expanding production and development environments.The starting salary for this position is anticipated to be in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. At RouteSmart Technologies, Inc., we offer various base pay ranges depending on the work location within the US. Please note that base pay may differ based on your level of experience.This position is hybrid or remote; however, we are currently seeking only candidates who are domiciled in the following states: Maryland; New York; Pennsylvania; Arizona; California; Colorado; Florida; Idaho; Illinois; Indiana; Minnesota; New Jersey; North Carolina; Oregon; South Carolina; WashingtonEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in researching, designing, and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT infrastructure, systems, security components, standards, and servicesMaintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, systems, services, security, and accountsContinuously monitor the health and performance of the AWS infrastructure, systems, and accounts, identifying issues and implementing solutions for improved efficiencyAnalyze components, logs, services, and specific tools as neededImplement, enforce, and configure security policies, controls, services, identity management, and other security measures to protect from unauthorized access and cyber threatsStay up-to-date on technology trends and best practices, adapting to evolving cloud IT technologies and management approachesCommunicate effectively and create accurate documentation of designs, configurations, processes, and proceduresCollaborate closely with other team members on projects and tasks, ensuring seamless integration and support for IT initiativesPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, services, server systems, and securityMinimum of 3 years of experience with AWS servicesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong organizational, detail-oriented, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively on assignments and initiativesCommitment to providing outstanding service and a willingness to learn and growEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or equivalent position in relevant IT positionsWork experience and proficiency with IT technologies, software, and servicesSolid experience with a wide range of AWS conceptsExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, scripting, automation tools a plusBenefitsRouteSmart offers its employees numerous opportunities for professional development.
