We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.Responsibilities And DutiesOCT currently has an opening for an IT Subject Matter Expert I - Assessment Lead (AL) to work with our federal client. The Assessment Lead serves as the Point of Contact (POC) for the NT1 HVA Assessment team and is the main interface with the Agency HVA POC and Assessment POC. This role is responsible for ensuring assessment activities are completed within agreed schedules and that all deliverables are completed and delivered on time. This position is contingent upon contract award.Primary Job DutiesServe as Point of Contact (POC) for the NT1 HVA Assessment teamInterface with Agency HVA POC and Assessment POC as primary contactEnsure Assessment activities are completed within agreed-upon schedulesEnsure Assessment activities follow established Rules of EngagementVerify that all NIST and CISA required documentation is completed prior to assessment executionOversee completion and delivery of all assessment deliverables on scheduleLead NT1 HVA Assessment Kickoff Briefings with stakeholders and leadershipConduct NT1 HVA Assessment Out Briefings at completion of assessmentsCoordinate with HVA Assessment Teams, CISA, and Department stakeholdersProvide estimates of resources required to implement changes to assessment processesComplete and provide all HVA Assessment documents including:NT1 HVA Assessment Technical Exchange Meeting QuestionnaireNT1 HVA Assessment Rules of EngagementNT1 HVA Assessment Kickoff BriefingNT1 HVA Assessment Appendix ANT1 HVA Assessment Out BriefNT1 HVA Assessment Final ReportProvide DOT's HVA PMO POC with all HVA Assessment Reports in accordance with CISA-established submission processPerform 3 NT1 HVA assessments in base period and up to 4 NT1 HVA assessments each option yearRequirementsQualifications/RequirementsMust be a U.S. CitizenMinimum 5 years of experience working with NIST security controls and information assurance4+ years of experience working and supporting HVAs as part of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) processExperience leading HVA assessment teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholdersExperience with CISA HVA Assessment processes and methodologiesDemonstrated experience in project management and assessment coordinationMANDATORY: Successful completion of CISA's Assessment Evaluation and Standardization (AES) HVA Assessment course and passed all associated examinations necessary for AES qualification as Assessment Lead (AL)Security+ certification or equivalent cybersecurity certificationUnderstanding of information assurance, cybersecurity, and privacy policies disciplines and methodologiesUnderstanding of Federal Information Security Modernization Act 2014 (FISMA)Understanding of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)Deep understanding of High Value Assets and Assessment Evaluation and Standardization requirementsKnowledge of DHS BOD 18-02 requirements and complianceProficiency in Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and VisioExcellent project management and coordination skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to interface effectively with senior leadership and technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple assessment projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timelinessWork LocationPrimary work location: 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington, DC 20590 (onsite) Situational telework may be approved in advance and in writing by the CORBenefitsBenefitsOCT offers competitive compensation packages and a full suite of benefits which includes:Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceRetirement savings 401K plan provided by an industry leading provider with 3% employer contributions of the employee's gross salaryPaid Time Off and Standard Government HolidaysLife Insurance, Short- and Long-Term disability benefitsTraining BenefitsSalary Range: $70,000- 175,000.00 yearly commensurate with experience, education, etc.About OCT ConsultingOCT Consulting LLC is a minority-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) providing professional services and information technology solutions to the Federal government and commercial clients.
