If you feel the same, then you've found your future.We are seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our expanding water and wastewater group primarily serving municipal clients in the areas of water treatment and distribution; wastewater treatment and collection; decentralized treatment; and water quality.You'll contribute to the planning, permitting, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects for communities throughout New England. In this role you can expect to collaborate with a small local team with a focus on mentoring while gaining direct exposure to clients and construction through the design lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a Project Manager and/or Lead Engineer, you'll:Prepare plans and specifications for public bidding utilizing various design softwareDevelop cost estimates, bidding materials, and construction schedulesAuthor technical memos and reports during the study phase of projectsPerform fieldwork inspections and data collection; as well as overseeing subcontractorsCollaborate internally with resilience planners, environmental engineers, engagement specialists and other disciplines to deliver multi-discipline projectsAssist in the preparation of grant or other funding applications; permits; subcontracts, and other technical documentationGain exposure to construction oversight and construction services.Participate in marketing the firm's services through networking, assisting in the preparation of proposals, interviews, and other materialsAttend conferences, become active in industry associations, and gain your PESkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringFive plus (5+) years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure planning, design, and constructionExperience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., water distribution, sewer collection systems, pump stations, treatment plants)Familiarity with permitting, regulatory compliance, and local/state/federal water regulations (e.g., EPA, DEP)EIT registration preferred; PE license a plusWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and GISStrong communication skills; both written and verbalThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
