We value independent and critical thinking.We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure group and to take part in our effort to improve our product, productivity, security, and ability to scale.This position is based in our headquarters in Boston, MA.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with product teams to shape their development and cloud experience, as well as ensure adherence to DevOps best practicesDevelop, maintain, and monitor cloud environments using infrastructure as code methodologiesParticipate actively in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability in software developmentWork collaboratively with product teams to design and implement new cloud services and workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platformRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field4+ years of experience in Software engineering with a focus on infrastructureExperience working with at least one of the major public clouds: AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with common best practices in architecture, security, and sysopsExperience working in a cloud based microservices environmentHands-on coding experience with Python, Typescript, or another major programming languageStrong written and verbal communication skillsGreat to have:Experience with observability platforms such as EFK/ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog, or SumoLogicExperience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK or TerraformKnowledge of IP networking principlesPrior experience maintaining highly available and secure infrastructureSalary: $140,000 - $150,000 a yearWhy Join Us:- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative solutions- Collaborative and dynamic work environment that fosters professional growth and learning- Competitive salary and benefits package- Chance to make a significant impact on our product and the industry as a wholeAbout the companyThe leading car loan provider for expats and international students in the US.
