Telecommuting permitted from the Chicago area 1 day per pensation: $196,123 - $225,000 per yearThis position is eligible for a 10% annual bonus based on performance.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement strategies to maximize business intelligence (or “BI”) systems throughout the organization, including medical services, operations, billing, finance, development, population health and others;Work with department leaders to assess data needs, prioritize projects, and develop a roadmap of future information technology and data projects;Assess, implement and manage systems to improve communication and efficiency across the organization;Evaluate and implement appropriate systems to meet BI needs, including reporting systems, data warehouses, Application Programming Interfaces, and other tools as needed;Serve as principal contact for AthenaOne, our medical billing system provider;Assess new opportunities in collaboration with Medical and Operations Departments to ensure that Esperanza Health Centers is utilizing new functionality within Athena to its maximum appropriate potential;Work with clinical and operations teams to evaluate computer applications and other services that can be integrated within the Athena environment;Evaluate and oversee implementation of additional clinical software such as population health management tools;Oversee our external network management and help desk vendor to ensure appropriate utilization of this resource by staff;Evaluate vendors for appropriate security systems;Implement remediation systems to ensure a robust security environment; and.Oversee our organization’s annual security audit, by completing evaluations of vendors and potential vendors, working with these vendors during the audit, and implementing changes based on the audit findings.RequirementsMust hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience as an IT professional or related occupation;Must have 5 years of experience in a managerial role working with healthcare data;Prior experience must include using data management and analysis tools, and creating advanced reports, including data visualization concepts.Esperanza Health Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) according to Title 44, Ill.
